There was no way I could not give credit to Charlotte for all her help this week (and in the past). Such commitment to customer service must be commended!

Honestly, I tested her patience every day for the past week and she was always polite, kind and super prompt, even helping me after hours when she had left the office already.

She really is such an asset and the fact that she made my life a little easier – knowing I could count on her, really meant so much.

This is to confirm that we have been using the services of Carla Palma and the team at The Departure Lounge for Portuguese translations since 2009; and we continue to do so. The material was often complicated and of a technical nature. In some cases the documents originated from Angola. The service included translations from English to Portuguese and vice versa.

We have always received excellent and efficient service from the team at The Departure Lounge. Their service has been of a very high quality and within the very tight time frames required by our project deadlines.

Tau was absoluut amazing, wonderlik, baie baie lekker. Almal kan nie ophou praat daarvan nie.

Die diens was meer as 5 ster! Die staff, die rangers, die kos, die conference room en facilities, die organisasie, en nog meer.

Ek het vir die MD daar dankie gese vir al die puik diens toe ons Sondag terug gekom het.

Ek weet nie hoe om dankie te se nie.

Baie baie dankie vir alles wat jy gedoen het van die begin af, die datum veranderinge, die laat transerfs, alles.

Jy is absoluut wonderlik, weet nie hoe jy dit doen nie!

Elaine en Kevin is ook fantasties. Ek sal hulle enige tyd vir enige iemand aanbeveel. Hulle was altyd daar vir enige vraag, hulp, ens. Hulle het seker gemaak dat die 2 ouens betyds was vir hulle transfers, en alles! Sal nooit beter diens kry nie. Absoluut wonderlik.

Die bus drywer was ook ongelooflik goed.

Just wanted you to thank Departure Lounge for their great service yesterday.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to get to the airport in time (5min too late to check in).

I called their offices and asked them to book us on the next flight.

This was all done within a few minutes and we were on our way.

There were staff members from Finsch Mine, Kimberley Mine, Koffiefontein and Group Support that benefited from their “prompt” service.

I do realize that this is “included in the ticket price” and considered “part of the service”, but it was handled efficiently and with aplomb.

We have decided to visit France next year just before their summer or during the Tour De France Cycle Race. We would want to spend 3 – 4 days in Paris and then drive through the countryside to the South of France.

Thank you for following up – it was great! The lodge itself was very nice , the food was good and the time away – priceless. The early morning drive was my favorite – driving in to the bush and rolling hills while the sun was rising … running in to some sleepy buffalo. We saw a lot of antelope on the first day – and just missed a lion the next. We saw his tracks in the dirt – fresh too! so we followed them for as long as we could. Alas, he remained elusive …

All in all, a perfect short getaway – thank you for arranging it.

Just got back from Zanzibar and we had the most delightful holiday there – the hotel was amazing, the staff faultless, the food delicious – it really ranks up there as one of our favourite holidays. Big thanks also for the lovely anniversary dinner and cake and champagne – was the cherry on the top. All in all a wonderful experience and would definitely go again. Even though such a poor country their attention to detail and willingness to please tourists is so refreshing.

Dear Carla,

We’re just back and had a really marvellous time. All the hotels were fabulous, we were really well looked after. We especially enjoyed the 12 Apostles and the Oyster Box – the Red Carnation is obviously a very well run group. Our day out in Zululand was absolutely fascinating and the company recommended by the hotel, Safaris for Africa, took a lot of trouble to make it very special and interesting. Thanks for sending copies of the tickets yet again! All the travel arrangements went smoothly so very many thanks for organising it so well – we really hope to go back again – felt we could have spent longer exploring Cape Town and the Peninsular and would like to go out and look at more battlefields!

The trip was fantastic, thank you. We have no complaints what so ever.

Transport was sorted from collection to drop off.

Mapenzi Beach was fantastic, the room was great, food was plenty and varied each day, staff friendly and accommodating to every need.

Overall we were very satisfied with the whole arrangement, booking through yourselves, the flights, accommodation. Returning was the only sad point.

I would just like to once again thank you for all your help in organizing this trip for us to Argentina. It meant a lot to me to have someone who understood what I wanted and you went out of your way to find out all the information and make all the necessary bookings. Because of all your effort I had very few sleepless nights, except of course the drama with Avis!!!!

I have already recommended your services to many of my friends, so expect them soon to be banging your door down. Luckily they are all rather conservative with their destinations and like to stay with the known, not like me who always like to take the path less traveled.

We had a marvelous time at Vic Falls. It was a short stay but managed to River Raft, Gorge Swing and do the Elephant Safari. We were rather stiff in funny places after the rafting and gorge swing.

The accommodation was fantastic. I would recommend the Royal to anyone.Thanks for your help with the arrangements.
